Playing through The Last Gas Station and its four endings, in which you spruce up an abandoned gas station in a place noted for strange happenings and get to experience some curious stuff while trying to bring in the big bucks.
My thanks to Random009 and Bad Influence for clarification on the requirements for the fourth ending (you need 40 UFO score to trigger the events around cobalt to persuade the Unknown, otherwise without that the Unknown will say they're unconvinced and kill you). I have heard on the Steam forums there is a fifth ending if mystery and civilization are both at 150 but much like the Last Gas Station quest this would require a pretty excessive amount of grinding to accomplish (presumably by raising individual legends through sales to get enough of a mystery score on its own). As by that point most stuff is automated you'd be sitting around for a long time to get enough customers (and sometimes you're just bottlenecked by the right type of customers just not showing up).
I do think this is a pretty enjoyable simulator game overall though it has its flaws. The positioning of the car wash is certainly less than ideal but a fix to run faster after a few seconds helps a bit there. Getting the right customers at time can be a bit frustrating in waiting when that limits progressing a quest to be able to upgrade your store (to say nothing of the final quest or the achievements to serve X customers). The convenience store itself is generally not very good to invest in initially since it requires more upfront purchasing, with gas almost always being the most profitable and the car wash/repair shop requiring no expenses to generate money (on top of that selling the right stuff to raise legends!). I think with some more tweaks this'll probably be more fun, and given balance tweaks have been made so far I suspect it's a matter of time with these issues getting addressed.
Focusing on your civilization score to start seems to be the best choice as this directly affects earnings from gas, car washes, and the repair shop. Since there's items in the convenience store that are based on your civilization score mystery stuff seems less important until the endgame, other than for advancing certain quests (i.e. you need some Lake legend score to advance conversation with Marge enough to access the Area 23 legend).
Otherwise the art is nice (some of the backgrounds are quite pretty) and the music is alright (might get a bit repetitive after a while but it never reached a "this is annoying" kind of thing for me, YMMV). The story works pretty well tying the legends together in a way (though since there's not really an intro it does seem curious there's not really anything explaining how our character came to the gas station especially given the final recordings in the mystery/new home endings - this seems like a missed opportunity).
