After totalizing almost 10 millions views on our 2 acoustic sessions with Bastille at ‘Le Petit Palais‘, we went back to this magical place accompanied by Asaf Avidan!
This amazing gallery hosts until January 4 the retrospective exhibit on one of the oldest crystal glass-making manufactury ‘Baccarat, la légende du cristal‘, displaying in the south gallery a 5-meter high masterpiece, composed of more than 8000 crystal pieces. There, the Israeli singer, known for his international hit ‘One Day‘, interpreted his now folk/blues single ‘Over My Head‘ taken from his forthcoming album ‘Gold Shadow‘, to be released on January 2015: the natural reverb of the place and the 1,3 tons of the chandelier suspended right ‘over his head’ finished off to complete his outstanding performance.

Cette magnifique galerie accueille jusqu’au 4 Janvier prochain l’exposition rétrospective sur l’une des plus vieilles cristalleries du monde ‘Baccarat, la légende du cristal‘, avec pour pièce maitresse un chef d’oeuvre de 5 mètres de haut comportant plus de 8000 cristaux. Fiona Walden fait de la « pop/ electro/ western » comme elle aime décrire sa musique; de celle qui nous émeut et nous transporte très loin, dans les contrées d’une Amérique fantasmée à la Sergio Leone. Cet univers va de pair avec sa voix si particulière, à la fois sensible et forte, qui n’est pas sans rappeler celle de Patti Smith…
Elle nous a interprété son tube en puissance, ‘Cold Heart‘ au sein du bar le Red House – avec son ambiance un peu cow-boy, c’était le lieu idéal pour tourner cette session acoustique! On vous laisse découvrir cette petite pépite aussi pleine d’émotions que taillée pour les dancefloors!
Fiona Walden does « pop/ electro/ western » music, as she likes to describe it. The kind of music that moves you and carry you away, far away to imaginary Far West lands.
This musical universe matches perfectly her unique voice, both sensitive and strong, which is reminiscent of Patti Smith’s rough voice...

Following the success of her first album, ‘Handmade‘, Hindi Zahra‘s second album sounds like a homecoming. The musician settled down alone in a ryad in Marrakech, Morocco, to start the songwriting of the well-named ‘Homeland‘; and finished its recording in a studio in Paris. Between these two milestones: a 2-year initiatory journey, in which Hindi Zahra travelled in Cuba, Jordan, Egypt, Italy, Andalusia… An met musicians from all horizons, like the Tuareg guitarist Bombino or the Brazilian drummer Ze Luis Nascimiento.

Created in 2011, the French electronic band PANZER FLOWER becomes famous in 2014 with its single ‘We Are Beautiful’. With already more than 3 million views online, the trio formed in Montpellier is a huge success. Called ‘Best Rising Stars’ by the French music magazine Rock and Folk, their music video was largely broadcasted on TV & radios in France and the song appears in the Top 15 of the sales.They owe the success of their song to a subtle mix of Californian singer-ex-leader of the band Tower Power Hubert Tubbs vocals and electro pop sounds.
It’s in a completely different style that the band presents their last song ‘Magik’.
Slower and softer, the melody doesn’t lose for all that its intensity communicated by vocalist Mike Louvila.
