In this video, I'll give a brief overview of the Land and Water Conservation Fund, how it works, how money is placed into the fund, and why it is so important for conservation projects across the United States.

The Great American Outdoors Act is transformational for our National Parks, Forests, Wildlife Refuges, and other protected areas. A key component of this transformation is fully funding the Land and Water Conservation Fund, a staple of funding for conservation projects since 1965.

If you want to learn more about the LWCF, you can find more information in this report from the Congressional Research Service: everycrsreport.com/reports/RL33531.html

Do you have a story or know of a project that the LWCF helped to fund? I'd love to hear about it! Leave it in the comments below!
