We'll be using Bruce Fink's book "The Lacanian Subject: Between Language and Jouissance" in juxtaposing key Lacanian themes- Otherness, Other as Language, Desire, Object a, Symbolic Order, Ego, Jouissance, Object, Subjectivazation, Fantasy, the Unconscious- to the notions of the Fall, Sin, Idol Worship, Idols, Passions, Knowledge of Good and Evil, Dark Logos etc.
