The manuscript from which these pieces are taken lies in the library of the Augustinian Abbey in Klosterneuburg, Austria, and dates from around the year 1700. I am playing from the Tree Edition of this work, edited with a forward by Michael Treder, who has skillfully grouped these pieces into "partitas," of which there are nineteen, along with a number of individual pieces, all of which I hope to record in time.
Since Michael Treder lists these two partitas as "incomplete" (fragmentarisch) and they are shorter than the others, I have combined them into a single video.
