Policing is essential to public safety, but it was never meant to carry the weight of an entire society by itself.

Strong communities are built through the combined efforts of families, schools, houses of worship, community organizations, and law enforcement.

As co-chaplain of the NYPD, I believe we should continue asking: How can we support the people who protect our community while also strengthening the institutions that help them thrive?

That is how we can collectively create meaningful outcomes for our community!
