I spent the last 9 weeks building this massive chain reaction machine in my dorm room. The machine travels from the toiletries counter, to the closet, to the office table, to my bookshelves, to the wall, and ends with the machine finding my missing key. Enjoy!

I've always wanted to try building a machine using more everyday, household objects. And I've been very inspired recently by @SpriceMachines and @JosephsMachines, so I finally gave it a shot, and I'm very happy with the results.
You may have noticed the video quality of this footage is higher than my other videos, and that's because I upgraded my camera for this machine! I decided to go with the Canon EOS 77D, and although there are a few weird things with the camera, I'm overall very happy with it, and the pictures and videos look incredible!
MACHINE STATS:
Time taken to build: ~9 weeks
Number of fails: 183
Time: 2:20
Favorite tricks: Flipping belt, whiteboard
Most fails: Laundry bag launch (38)
Most frustrating trick: Laundry bag launch
SPECIAL THANKS:

![Machine Screenlink Clip Contest [CLOSED]
Happy 2015 everyone! To kick off the new year, I decided to do something I have never done before: host a contest! For this contest, you must create a Rube Goldberg screenlink clip similar to the clips I made in the Dominoes vs. Rube Goldbergs screenlink collaboration with StarRider (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4Wgl6OHfW8g&list=UUBAeMA1Tb6eYkpcvF8sNIKQ). To impress me, your clips should be precise, complicated, or both. Domino clips are not allowed. The contest is open until the end of February. Below are the rules.
Rules:
1) There is no time limit!
2) Do not make an entire Rube Goldberg machine, just one main idea.
3) The camera cannot move, just one single still camera angle.
4) Clips must enter and exit with any of the following materials:
1. Red Domino Rally pivot tracks (highly preferred)
2. Trains and train track
3. Ping pong ball or golf ball on Hot Wheels track
4. Rolling ping pong ball or golf ball
5) Only one entry per person.
6) Do not edit the clips. Leave them the way that they were recorded. (This includes music!)
Once I have all the submissions, I will take all of them and edit them together into a screenlink, with the winner of the contest as the last clip in the screenlink. (Second place will come second to last, third place will come third to last, etc.)
To submit your clip, title your video jackofallspades98 Contest Entry. Then, leave a comment on this video with a link to that video, so you know I cant possibly miss it!
Prizes:
3rd Place:
-subscription if I havent already
-subscription from my personal account
-spot on my featured channels sidebar
-I will take your idea for an Is It Possible or a Challenge Accepted video
2nd Place:
-subscription if I havent already
-subscription from my personal account
-spot on my featured channels sidebar
-I will take your idea for an Is It Possible or a Challenge Accepted video
-collaboration opportunity (this will be passed on to third place if you dont want it)
1st Place:
-subscription if I havent already
-subscription from my personal account
-spot on my featured channels sidebar
-I will take your idea for an Is It Possible or a Challenge Accepted video
-collaboration opportunity
-channel intro with your name made out of a Rube Goldberg machine (this will be passed on to second place if you dont want it)
If you have any questions, leave them in the comments below. I will be sure to answer them.
Good luck! Happy building!
Remember, card trick videos on the first Saturday of every month, and Rube Goldberg videos whenever I get around to making them. I try to average about 3 videos a month. Machine Screenlink Clip Contest [CLOSED]](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/aEdZ1zDZJ_w/mqdefault.jpg)

![The Super Bowl 50 Machine 🏈

In this machine, I tried creating a trick that I knew would take up most of the table (the many tricks with the swiveling track on the cars). The strategy after that point was building interesting elements to go along with it, and even overlap it, in the case of the falling shoe box and LEGO train.
Not that these are ever easy, but this machine in particular was challenging to build for three reasons. First of all, the swiveling track ideas took up so much room, I was left with only thin surfaces to build other ideas. Secondly, I had trouble coming up with ideas in general. For a few days, my brain refused to think up any cool physics tricks. But the third reason was the hardest to work around. I literally ran out of many of my materials. I had used up most of the useful Knex pieces, and I was almost out of Hot Wheels track. So half of this machine had to be made using other materials, which was not something I had ever had to do before.
But anyway, in the end, I think I may have created my most complex machine yet. Is it more complicated than The jacksfilms Machine? Not sure. But regardless, I am very happy with how it turned out. Aside from the mechanics of it, even the decorations look awesome!
