The finale to the Island of Doctor Morose along with the good ending (quite possibly the best ending but still some stuff to check). Howard goes to the Island of Doctor Morose to find his friend Phillip after not hearing back from them and stories of bad stuff on the island circulating.
Not sure if the courage upgrade gives you more time in the boss fight (as you will die from madness if the bar fully fills) and not 100% sure the ringing order I used it required for the fight but I think it was since it was used on an earlier puzzle. The time limit is a bit tight especially if you waste ammo as unequipping the slingshot to pick up passing rocks is a notable delay.
As an idea this game is really good with the mash-up of Lovecraft, Dr. Seuss, and H. G. Wells. It was certainly enjoyable to see the art style and rhyming be maintained throughout the game (and the art for deaths is really nice too!). It does feel that the gameplay is a bit less polished in that avenue which was felt when playing the demo. Inventory space is terribly small and although it can be upgraded (if you pick that instead of a different boost) you often have to juggle several items which especially means not easily carrying around a healing item. Stamina management can also be a bit annoying (sadly no QoL feature for it not to deplete when not actively being chased) but it too can be upgraded.
Overall I did like the game and would recommend it if you like the genre. Definitely got stuck a few times and certainly was thankful for help on the Steam forums.
Still checking conditions for other endings so the deaths should be up later (or tomorrow).
0:00 Encountering the Great Old One
1:04 Boss Fight
2:02 Ending
8:15 Credits
