Everyone has a theory.

After learning about a friend’s death, a group gathers to make sense of what happened. Armed with fragments of information, vague memories, and plenty of opinions, they begin piecing together an explanation.

Eventually, they arrive at a version of events everyone can agree on.

There’s just one problem: it might not be true.

The Interpreters is a darkly comic look at the stories we construct from incomplete information and how quickly interpretation can become reality—especially in a world experienced increasingly through social media.
