The formation of an embryo requires highly precise and reproducible processes. But how does this apparent flawlessness persist despite the ubiquitous noise in biology? Embryogenesis is in fact not a perfect process; but fortunately, there are mechanisms to correct mistakes. An abnormal expression of a morphogen can be rectify using mechanical feedback, allowing tissues to detect and eliminate unfit cells.
