Today really marks the end of privacy as we know it. The United States of America managed to pass the KIDS Act in the House on June 29th 2026. One of the laws and regulations within the bundle of bills is KOSA "Kids Online Safety Act" that will require every site on the internet to have biometric scanning and age verification. The only way to stop this now is if the Senate denies it, but judging by how its receiving bipartisan support, the future is bleak.
