You wake up in the middle of the night to a loud sound and don't know what it is. Only to find out that the loud sound wasn't just your imagination. I decided to make this short film to give folks who are sighted a perspective of how it would be to watch a YouTube video with a visual impairment and with audio descriptions. I wanted to do this because I really think YouTube should have audio descriptions available for visually impaired and blind viewers like how deaf and hard of hearing viewers have closed captions.

I'm hoping that YouTube is able to do this because I would love to have audio descriptions on some of my short films and videos. If this video helped start a discussion then that's great. As a visually impaired creator I think it's rather odd for the platform to not have accessibility for those who can't see well or at all.
