The Inclusive Cycling Experience is helping disabled communities in Greater Manchester and Inverness discover the freedom of cycling.
Funded by the Motability Foundation and delivered by Cycling UK, the programme offers free try-out sessions and non-standard cycle loans, making everyday journeys more accessible. From adapted bikes and trikes to ebikes, participants receive expert support, guidance and the chance to build confidence in a safe, traffic-free environment.
Since 2024, the programme has delivered over 360 sessions, welcomed more than 2,000 participants and loaned almost 900 bikes.
