In this part, we experience the Green Energy Rain, and gather a few more collectibles before returning to the Icy Region in the Northwest, the Ice Belt. With the Fire Shot in hand, we can finally bypass the sheet of ice blocking access to the rest of the region. Upon entering, we are ambushed by a pack of Snow Wolves and are nearly killed by them until we are rescued by Reger Tokabi, another member of the Galactic Federation. We then acquire the Map to the Lamorn Research Facility we happen to be in and get ready to descend to its depths to restore power to it.

- The "Green Rain" occurs after we obtain the Fire Shot. This rain enhances the strength and health of all enemies in Sol Valley, however they do not have any new Logbook Entries due to it. Additionally, the rain also creates new Green Energy Crystals in the desert.
- As said before, there are six Lamorn Shrines scattered across Sol Valley's sands, and each contains an upgrade for the three Elemental Beam Weapons. Now that we have access to the Fire Shot, we can burn the webs in the first Shrine and access the Charged Fire Shot, the first of two upgrades for the Fire Shot. Additionally, inside Shrines you'll find "Pots of Green Energy Crystals", and as there are a finite number of Shards in the game, these MUST be collected to attain a true 100%. These "Pots" also contribute the most towards the upgrades as well, so be thorough when clearing shrines!
