The Heaphy Track is the longest of the New Zealand (NZ) Great Walks, this lesser known track turns out to be an absolute stunner! This video covers the second day of four, having climbed up the steep hill on day 1, we then progressed along the heathland on the hill tops, not sure which camp to stop at, we end up continuing on from the idyllic setting of Saxon Hut and putting in a long hike to reach James Mackay hut to make the next two day legs more manageable.
