Having completed the Somerset and North Devon sections, we felt strong and ready to tackle the 140 miles of the path along North Cornwall. We had our fair share of wet and windy weather, but there were glorious sunny sections also resulting in a good mix of everything.
Very much enjoyed North Cornwall. I think our mood changed a little in this section. We lost the giddy excitement of the previous two counties, with our mood being fresher and it still resembling a normal 1-2 week trek. In North Cornwall, we started to realise what it was like to do a long distance trek where you walk week after week after week with just a rest day in-between. That was a new regime for us and I think it was strange for us mentally to deal with it and stay strong.
