Any theology that erases your freedom or your identity is a distortion of Scripture.

When belief systems are used to control, silence, or shrink you, the damage doesn’t just stay “spiritual.” It shows up in your body.

Chronic fear.
Hypervigilance.
Anxiety.
Depression.
Trauma symptoms.
A loss of identity and self-trust.

You may even feel small. Childlike.
Like you’re not allowed to fully grow up and stand in your own adulthood.

That isn’t holiness.
That’s harm.

God does not sanctify the erasure of the image He placed inside you.
