We all have one.

That "secret tech" card.

The one we spent hours finding on Scryfall, convinced ourselves was going to be incredible... and then refused to cut, even after it disappointed us game after game.

That's the IKEA Effect.

The more work we put into creating something, the more we value it, even when the evidence says we shouldn't.

In Commander, that means our favorite card can quietly become our biggest blind spot.

💬 What's the biggest pet card you've refused to cut from a deck? No judgment... we've all got one.

If you've been enjoying this series on Commander psychology, I'd love to have you join the conversation. There are plenty more illusions to unpack.
