I know it's been a bit since my last upload, but I have not been sitting idle! I have been on an adventure across the United States both on a dig as well as going to over 20 museums in the past month!
And along the way I got an idea, I could give everyone a tour of some of the different exhibits at the museums I've seen! This would be an excellent opportunity to show you all some different museum exhibits that many of you may never get the chance to see, as well as just have a chance to nerd out with you about stuff that gets me really excited in the science!
And then, when I was at the Sternberg museum in Hays, Kansas, I saw an exhibit that hit me with the spark of inspiration to create a video! The Armor Hall is an exhibit that was not here the last time I was at this museum 4 years ago, and this was an exhibit that was absolutely one of my favorites in all my travels! All about the evolution of armor throughout prehistory!
from placoderms, to early archosaurs, through the famous armored dinosaurs to the armored xenarthran mammals, this exhibit does a fantastic job of displaying how this amazing form of defense has evolved multiple times throughout the history of life! Many of these animals are some of my all time favorites so it's almost like this exhibit was made for me! So come with me on this tour of the Sternberg Museums Armored Animal Hall!
