IK Multimedia just released Royal 45 Legends for TONEX… and this collection is something special.

Based on three incredibly rare mid-’60s British 45-watt amplifiers, Royal 45 Legends captures everything from rich edge-of-breakup tones to warm vintage crunch and harmonically complex lead tones. These amps came from the Capitol Records collection in Los Angeles and one of Europe’s premier vintage collections — and you can absolutely feel that history when you play through them.

In this video I take you through the collection, explore the feel and response of these incredible amps, and showcase some of my favorite tones from the release.
