On Saturday 15 November 2025, Rupert was the keynote speaker at the Green Christians' Annual Members Meeting and Conference, held at St Mark’s Church, Peterborough UK.

The theme of the day was contemplating the answer to the question, "Climate breakdown is happening. How can churches help their communities prepare for what’s coming?"

Following the conference Green Christian greenchristian.org.uk/church-community-and-climate-risk issued a “Call to Action” for equipping every church, large or small, rural or urban, to be a beacon of resilience and hope in a time of upheaval.
