We'll be the first to say we're no horse experts. We've just saved a lot of horses' lives. We learn a little more every day.
One of the great debates: Should you blanket horses on below-freezing days, or let them do what they've done for centuries to keep warm? We blanket our weaker horses, but some are obviously more fit than others. Nothing inspires a great debate like whether to interfere with the natural defenses of a horse.
We love a healthy discussion, but here on this channel, we get to decide if it becomes unproductive or critical. It's possible to disagree without personal attacks or mean-spiritedness. There's enough hate in the world. Swingin' D won't provide yet another outlet.
