Rick MacDonnell | The Golden Notebook by Doris Lessing | Top 125 Books of All-Time Review @RickMacDonnell | Uploaded October 2018 | Updated October 2024, 1 hour ago.
My fourth review in my series of the Top 125 Books of All-Time, The Golden Notebook was a nice change of pace ... meaning I actually really liked it. This feminist classic is what shitty critics out there usually refer to as a "tour de force." It's uniquely structured, rich with ideas, and written by a complete master (she won the Nobel, for god's sake).
If this review at all interests you, go ahead and pick up The Golden Notebook by Doris Lessing. It's pretty solid.
