Fiber Film Club: Vicuna Yarn – The Golden Fleece

Often called the “Golden Fleece” or the “Fibre of the Gods,” vicuna has been treasured for thousands of years. During the time of the Inca Empire, it was so highly prized that vicuna garments were reserved for royalty.
But what makes this little wild camelid's fleece so extraordinary?

Where these beautiful animals come from and how they live in the high Andes.
