Marathon's Lore and Story contain many instances where we interact with unexplained phenomena, alien civilisations and beings of god-like power. Today we'll be exploring the lore behind these "Gods" of Marathon including the Jjaro, W'rkncacnter, Rampant AIs and the player character from the original Marathon trilogy. We'll also touch on the question of whether the Biomata (AKA Runners) might also be capable of growing their own form of divinity now that they are liberated from the confines of a single life and death.
