Here is one to preserve for the channel which is a show called The Gilded Cage show or the Bird show as Rolly referred to it as. An attraction designed by Rolly Crump and AVG Productions for Steve Wynn's Golden Nugget hotel in Atlantic City, New Jersey back in the 1980s. It was made after Rolly was brought on board by Steve Wynn to redesign aspects of the Golden Nugget hotel in NJ.
So, when Rolly took a look at the former Bird Cage that existed in the hotel lobby of the Golden Nugget. It had real Macaws seen from patrons and it ironically had the issues Walt had with the restaurant phase of Tiki Room's development; AKA the birds taking a shit. So Rolly took the opportunity to remove this former Bird Cage that hosted actual birds to make em audio animatronics instead.
This bird show featured a kooky cast of five Macaws (we don't know their names) similar in shape and scope to the Enchanted Tiki Room. However, the theme with the birds was made to more ritzy and vegas-like to fit the vibe of the Casino. Leading to the birds to have a vibe of their own such as a few show girl birds and even one in a Tux. And the music was given a Jazz treatment similar to the band, The Manhattan Transfer . The show even had additional features not seen in Tiki Room such as blinking eyes for animatronics which was actually an idea Steve Wynn wanted with his Bird Show and got.
The Show was in the Golden Nugget at Atlantic City for a number of years before it was all transferred to another Golden Nugget in Laughlin, Nevada; also owned by Steve Wynn. The attraction would be retired at some point in the 90s or 2000s due to the attraction becoming heavy maintenance and with cutbacks the hotel received years back. Its unknown where the whereabouts of these characters are today and if they are still out there somewhere.
Maybe this could be a case for the Lost Media enthusiasts to dig into!
