There's more geekiness in Osaka than just in DenDen Town! The popular areas around Namba, Dotonbori and Shinsaibashi has a lot of geek stores to explore.

Places I visit in this video include, but are not limited to, the Monster Hunter Exhibition and Eorzea Final Fantasy XIV Cafe, Don Quijiote, and various pop-up stores and electronic stores around Dotonbori. Oh, and crane game and gashapon spots as well - of course!
Along the way I explore holograms, I try to understand what PalVerse is, and I marvel at glorious geek art.
I also pay a visit to the famous PC and retro gaming bar Space Station, and do my best to not suck completely at Mario Kart. I fail of course!
And to round off the evening I visit the mall Shinsaibashi Parco, with two floors filled with pop culture stores of all kinds. LEGO stores, Capcom stores, Ghibli stores, a Shonen Jump store, a Bandai store - this place has everything you could desire!
They even managed to make Teletubbies look cute. Completely incredible feat.
And there was also a giant godzilla statue, Monster Hunter merch, a pixel art Mega Man (or Rockman), Ultraman...and a giant hamburger. For some reason.
Anyway, there was definitely a lot to see in the touristy areas of Osaka - and I hope you enjoy this little look at everything!
