Moderskeppet is continuing to expand! The cruise now takes place twice per year, and this is a video covering EVERYTHING that happened on the spring edition, Moderskeppet Play 2026.

Moderskeppet is a bi-annual geek cruise arranged by Geeks, and there seems to be no stopping the popularity of this event. More than a thousand geeks and nerds gathered to party on the Baltic Sea during April, and I have a feeling that all of them will return for Moderskeppet 5 in October.
This isn't your typical cruise. You can play video games and board games, compete in quizzes and attend lectures. You can also play Rock Band on stage, and explore offers from various companies like Elgiganten at the Expo area.
But there's more! There's also an Indie Game Zone, a cosplay competition, live roleplaying, and tons of other activities. And the variety of events is getting more and more impressive with every iteration of this geek cruise.
And let's not forget about all the musical acts, such as Wakkah and the Warlocks, Blüdwave, and Rymdkraft. And of course tons of DJs from Syntax Error, and amazing piano players as well. The dance floor was packed from early evening until late morning - because unfortunately it closed at 4 AM. But that didn't stop people from continuing to have fun.
Moderskeppet is an amazing combination of geekdom and party - and I highly recommend that you attend Moderskeppet 5 on October 8. I already booked my ticket!
