I had my hands full today but the Red Bull was plentiful and delicious, like beam....
I received a stash of numbers from the poshest of them all, as a bit of a friendly challenge. Most of them were down but there was one that was very active - the Amazon scam. This group was a piece of work. Not only did they pretend to be Amazon, they also pretended to be flight reservations, car rentals and then later, after calling them numerous times, denied that they were Amazon entirely.
I had a lot of fun angering every scammer in the room. It got to the point where the male scammers had simply given up and decided to forward the calls to female scammers. This is a tactic that I had seen numerous times already from the male scammers after dealing with me. I guess their really is no honor among thieves, let alone equality.
Based on the number of scammers, it was clear that I was going to need some help. I suggested that this number be shared and sure enough, the scammers, who were already angry after dealing with me for close to 20 minutes, were being bombarded with prank calls from other scammers. The number would eventually be turned off and later ditched by the scammers.
This is a long one and I was tested. The third scammer gauntlet begins now!
