For years, Apple’s smart home story has been… fine.
Reliable. Private. Mostly stable and most importantly local
But if we’re being honest, Apple Home has never really felt like something Apple truly cares about.
Apple Home reacts to triggers, but it doesn’t understand behaviour.
It turns things on and off, but it doesn’t really know what’s happening in the home.
And while HomePods and Apple TVs quietly act as hubs in the background, there’s no visible brain — no central place where intelligence, context, permissions, and automation come together.
What’s missing is Apple Intelligence applied properly to the home: presence, awareness, and contextual understanding.
A home that knows who’s there.
A home that understands where you are.
A home that reacts based on intent, not rigid rules.
