iOS 27 is finally here, bringing some major updates to Apple Home and HomeKit Secure Video.

In this video, I take you through everything new, including the redesigned HomeKit Secure Video experience, Apple Intelligence camera summaries, natural language search, smarter notifications, cross-camera understanding and 4K support.

Away from cameras, iOS 27 also brings energy usage directly into Apple Home, faster HomeKit and Matter device setup, Apple TV updates through the Home app and major Apple Intelligence improvements to Shortcuts.

I also explain the new iCloud requirements for Apple Intelligence camera features, which devices and Home hubs need updating, and the new settings that let you choose which cameras use AI features.
