My friend @devanjesmer wore the Les Filles En Rouge Le Baume Cherie on our trip to New York and I knew I had to have it.
This is described as a tinted moisturizing balm with buildable intensity. "The 1st Les Filles en Rouje lip balm is as desirable as an iconic lipstick, for tinted lips with buildable intensity and better-looking lips day after day."
Itâs a beautiful sheer but buildable balmy lipstick that created a flush of color without feeling drying. Iâd say itâs on the stiffer side and itâs a satin matte texture that doesnât feel powdery, itâs just not a shiny satin.
These are totally fragrance-free and come in a beautiful gold component that feels chic and luxe.
Both colors are beautiful but I think I prefer BB, the brown. Cherie is stunning but it looked a lot more red in person on Dev, whereas on me itâs quite a bright purple berry, which I donât reach for as much. But theyâre still both beautiful! They also have a red which I'm totally eyeing next.
At $38 they're pricey for what they are, but I really enjoy the experience of using them and they make me feel quite chic!
