Greetings! In this video I try to give a broad, general overview for potential Flight Attendant's. If you've ever thought, 'I'd like to be a Flight Attendant!', this video may help you decide. It's a growth industry with unusual benefits (most importantly free travel within the US and seriously inexpensive travel internationally) and unusual job requirements as well. Lots of travel and time away from home and family, fairly rigorous training, and a nearly constant change of workmates.
IMPORTANT: Candidates must be willing and able to relocate at their own expense. Domiciles will be awarded during training. Assignments are based on company seniority and operational need. While I didn't cover this in the video, it is likely that for your first 6 months of training (while you are still in your probationary period) you will often need to relocate temporarlily. Most incoming flight attendant's share an apartment to cut cost during this period. Hopefully after the intial 6 month period you can commute from your home to your work base (this is what I do).
