Today I'm visiting Papa Curvin & Joan's favourite fish spot The Aquarium Restaurant at Rio Nuevo Beach! This historical beach is where the last War in Jamaica between the English and the Spanish happened. Chef Andrew has been running the place for over 20 years, and it's a classic local spot for fresh seafood. It really is as fresh as it can get, because Chef Andrew is also a fisherman who catches most of the fish on the menu! Legit Local Vibes. The Escovitch Red Snapper comes with some absolutely perfect golden crisp sweet potato and savoury plantains. I also take a walk to the far end of the beach to see the Sugarpot Ruins Beach, to see some of this historical area.
