The first thing I ever knit was a pair of mittens. I didn't understand gauge, yarn weight, how to knit in the round, seam, or even how to tell the difference between knit and purl stitches. But I jammed them out and have kept them to this day (23 years later!). I even just tied the ends in knots instead of weaving them in... 'cuz what is "weaving in" when you're just starting out?
It was a blast from the past but I hope you enjoy the giggle. Keep being awesome and know that you can knit ANYTHING!
