Learn all of the steps necessary to perform the tubular bind off using the Magic Loop Method. While the core elements are the same as if you were working in the round, there are some extra tips about working yarn placement at the transition between needles that I found invaluable when I learned the technique!

*If you wish to knit a sample and practice,* the "cuff" is worked with worsted weight yarn and a US 8 / 5 mm 32" / 80 cm circular needle.
Cast on 36 sts using the Long Tail cast on method.
Place marker for beginning of round (if desired) and join to work in the round.
Work 10 rounds of (k1, p1) ribbing.
Tubular Setup Round 1: *K1, slip 1 st purlwise with yarn in front; repeat from * to the end of the round.
Tubular Setup Round 2: *Slip 1 st purlwise with yarn in back, p1; repeat from * to the end of the round.
Transfer the stitches as follows to 2 needles: slip the knit stitches purlwise to the front needle (the working needle) and the purl stitches purlwise to the back needle (the second needle). The two needles will be held parallel with the purl stitches on the inside needle.
Once the stitches are on the separate needles, graft both sets of stitches to finish the edge.
