This terrifying anti-drug PSA from the 1970s might be the very first screamer ever made.
It starts with a harmless toy monkey clanging its cymbals… then suddenly hits you with a loud, unexpected monkey scream. Released by the NCDAI, this commercial aired on TV and left a lasting impression on anyone who saw it.
Some say it kicked off the screamer format decades before the internet made it popular.
