Welcome to the 1st Annual Coloring Book Awards! 2025 gave us an incredible lineup of coloring books, and instead of choosing the winners myself, the coloring community gets to vote. With tens of thousands of releases in 2025, YOU decide which books deserve to win across 15 different book categories.
From epic fantasy worlds to cozy lifestyle scenes, spooky vibes, seasonal coloring books, and cozy fuzzy characters, this showcase highlights some of 2025’s most creative and beloved coloring books. Out of more than 14,000 releases, the list was narrowed down to nearly 1,400 human-made books, then refined further by researching your reactions across social media and reading community reviews to create the ultimate nominee list.

Think of it like the Oscars, but for coloring books. We saw incredible creativity across the hobby, from the continued rise of romantasy fantasy books to the explosion of cute lifestyle coloring books. Artists also experimented with new styles, from kawaii spooky themes to premium fuzzy characters. At the same time, traditional intricate designs remained beloved by experienced colorists while beginner-friendly books welcomed many newcomers to the hobby. From Maria Trolle’s botanical magic to Kerby Rosanes’ intricate worlds, from Coco Wyo’s relatable girl moments to Miss Kitsch’s adorable seasonal characters, 2025 was an incredible year for coloring books.
