Kathy Folk was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin's follicular lymphoma in 2012. Throughout the years, she's been in and out of remission thanks to multiple treatments.

Her latest treatment in May of this year was new to her, as she was the first person in Nebraska to receive CAR T-cell therapy as an outpatient at the Fred & Pamela Buffett Cancer Center - Nebraska Medical Center.
