After putting down an impressive 531 horsepower on the dyno, it's finally time to complete our 2025 Honda Civic Type R (FL5) project!
In today's episode, we're focusing on the final details that truly separate a modified car from a fully finished build. The performance side is complete, but now it's time to elevate both the engine bay and interior with some of the finest JDM components available.
Under the hood, we install a genuine JDM Carbing coolant reservoir, paired with premium Chasing J's titanium hardware throughout the engine bay. We continue the transformation with a collection of dry carbon fiber upgrades, including a custom dry carbon HKS strut bar, engine cover, and fuse box cover. To top everything off, we add a beautiful Spoon Sports Ignition Coil Matte Carbon Kevlar Cover for that perfect finishing touch.
Inside the cabin, the upgrades continue with new suede center console trim, a J's Racing Shift Boot Collar Kit, and a Mugen ignition button that perfectly complements our Mugen steering wheel and carbon fiber center console. We then install a GT3 Touring-inspired strap pull door release system before completing the interior with a full matte dry carbon trim package, covering the dashboard, A/C vents, door panels, and power window switch surrounds.
