In this episode of this series, we will be introducing our latest project:
USDM Honda FK8 Civic Type-R. A quick walk-around to get familiar to our Spoon Sports build then we will start our tear-down. First is the removal of the stock front and rear bumpers. Then we will jump into the engine bay by removing the stock Intercooler, Radiator, Downpipe, Turbo, Intake and Fuel System. To finish off, we will be installing the Hondata Fuel Upgrade kit, including step-by-step instruction of the replacement of the mechanical fuel pump, high pressure injectors and the in-tank fuel pump.
On the next episode, we will be opening all of the brand new parts for this project. Then we will finish up the engine bay.
