In this episode of this series, the evolution of our 2025 Honda Civic Type R continues! In today's episode, we give the FL5 another round of authentic JDM upgrades that completely transform both the interior and performance.
We kick things off with a fresh oil change before diving into one of the most exciting modifications yet—installing a pair of genuine Spoon Sports Carbon Kevlar bucket seats paired with Spoon Sports seat rails and seat stays. The aggressive seating position completely changes the driving experience while giving the interior a true race-inspired feel.
Next, we elevate the cabin even further by installing premium leather suede A-pillar panels and a matching suede steering column cover, adding a refined OEM+ finish throughout the cockpit.
On the exterior, we add genuine Mugen carbon fiber mirror covers for a subtle yet aggressive touch before wrapping up the day with the installation of the Spoon Sports Venturi Big Throttle Body, improving airflow and preparing this FL5 for even more performance.
