The fear of Zelda Wii U lays in whether or not it will fall short of preconceived expectations. Regardless there are those who wish to seek out their own interpretation of the Zelda franchise. The Twilight Princess HD mod is an example of this. In which an ambitious collective pioneered their own vision for a Twilight Princess HD remake. In addition, perhaps Zelda Wii U’s lack of information came with motive. That the gameplay trailers from E3 and the Nintendo Directs have a grand scheme in mind. That what consumers believe what Zelda Wii U will be, will overestimate the title’s promise. Does Nintendo have an ace up their sleeve with the new Nintendo NX? Are they building up for a grand reveal at E3 2016? Are games such as Hyrule Warriors Legends and the wolf link Amiibo mean something? One thing is for sure is that consumers are speculating.
