The evolution, retrospective, and history regarding the Super Smash Bros video game series. Ever since the release of Super Smash Bros for the Nintendo 64, a unique taste of fighting elements were introduced. Smash 64 laid the foundation for subsequent titles in the series. Moreover, future titles tweaked and expanded upon the original formula. Super Smash Bros Melee being the most competitive, Super Smash Bros Brawl being the most accessible, and Super Smash bros 4 being a mix between both. While Smash Melee is my personal favorite in the series due to nostalgia mixed in with competitive exploits (Teching, wavedash, L –Canceling, tournaments, etc.). I cannot deny the fun that I experience playing Smash Brawl or Smash 4. Super Smash Bros as a series has come a long way since the good old Nintendo 64 days. How far has it come?
