So I've been on a bit of a Max Payne kick recently. I just played through the entire trilogy, and even played through the weird isometric GBA Port of the first game. With that said, when it comes to Max Payne, the discussion inevitably leads back to Max Payne 3, and whether or not it was a worthy follow-up to the other games. Personally I do think it is a pretty undeniable step back in a great many ways. But for me, there's one issue that stands above them all. Matter of fact, I've kind of had a bone to pick with this game's storytelling for a number of years. This is a topic that I've wanted to cover for a while. The game's biggest inconsistency that ruins the game for me.
