My guest today is the psychologist and writer Rob Kurzban, co-author of the Living Fossils substack, and also the author of books including 'Why Everyone (Else) Is a Hypocrite: Evolution and the Modular Mind' and 'The Hidden Agenda of the Political Mind: How Self-Interest Shapes Our Opinions and Why We Won't Admit It.'

We spoke about why modern parenting is weirdly stressful and some of the ways in which we can reduce the anxiety induced by evolutionary mismatch. In the extended version of the episode, we also spoke about the wisdom (or not) of moral disgust.
