This is our ninth video on the Schneider EuroPC. We have added a keyboard to test the RTC clock chip, the M3002. This chip not only keeps tab of the clock, but also stores the setup info from the bios menus. On our last test we was not able to store anything, but we did test all the connections as this is the area that is by far most corroded by the leaking battery fluid.
This PC that is not a Commodore, but with this design that makes us all wish it were. The Schneider EuroPC is the German company Schneider’s first attempt to make a PC of their own after years of rebranding Amstrad computers. I had a friend back in the day that had one of these beauties and I have always loved the shape and concept of these. This is a recent purchase and was bought in unknown condition.
