The super mini reviews are for movies I do not believe need a lengthy review to get the point across. I will only do full length reviews for larger, big budget, movies.
Equalizer 2 review - This movie picks up after the first one. Denzel Washington's character is still the nice old man who no one suspects doing anything wrong. He has a friend killed and begins a quest of vengeance. The action is very good. There are long takes between each cut allowing the action sequences to breathe better. The story can be slow at time and there are too many side quests for the story. About 15 minutes of the movie could have been trimmed off. The acting is superb all around. Music is ok and the surround sound mix is lacking. If you liked the first one you'll like this one, but not worth paying the prices of admission to a theater unless the ticket is cheap.
