I want to start out by saying that Mission Impossible Fallout is an absolute blast at the movies. The cinematography, stunts, surround sound, HDR color grading and direction are all absolutely top notch. The aerial scenes are probably the two best ones in Hollywood ever. Helicopter combat and Tom Cruise falling out of an airplane are just breath taking when seeing it on IMAX. If there's one reason to see this movie is knowing that everything you see Tom Cruise doing on screen is real. Pretty good considering his age.
Let's be honest, this franchise has been going on for 22 years and it's not Star Trek, Star Wars or James Bond. There's only so many times we can see someone betrayed before it gets old. The acting is good sometimes and bad other. Henry Cavil is a great action star but his acting is pretty stiff here.
Overall I highly suggest you see Mission Impossible on the big screen. The action sequences alone are worth the price of seeing in a premium format.
