~Description~
The story of Dr. Hazardaver isn't unlike most other dystopians: born Al K. Meli, he grew up poor in the city's Ferrokin District, worked a minimum wage job to keep himself afloat, et cetera. Coming from a family of poor Poishun-shallur immigrants from Neducook, a land far West of the Dystopia, Al took a natural liking to chemistry, as it is a core component of Poishun-shallur culture. As a young boy, he helped his dear nonna with the family potions business, selling brews to the local residents in the district, now known as The Underbelly. Of course, the young Al never knew the true power behind this business, but he knew deep down inside that he was helping people in need. And that was all the motivation he needed.
Due to the nature of these activities, he had to stay on the low from the city's robot police force, who he grew to have a distrust in from this young age. To continue his chemical efforts, he graduated from Ferrokin District Public University with a doctorate in chemistry, becoming a teacher at the local high school. Beloved by his colleagues and students alike for his lovable personality, true passion for teaching, and a love of the sciences, the Dr. was regarded by all as one of the kindest and warmest individuals amongst sleazy, ingenuine everyman. This was, of course, until the night that changed everything.
Coming home from a long day of work, he walked down the dark, cold streets of The Underbelly, the same path he had taken every day. As he approached closer and closer to his family's apartment, he noticed lines of civilians hurriedly walking away. Coming into view, he spotted the apartment, covered up in yellow tape. As he tried to push his way through, the Blareicade unit police enforcers stationed outside shoved him to the ground. He watched as his beloved nonna was carried out on a stretcher, the unfortunate victim of a robbery gone wrong. He turned to one of the Blareicades, pleading to know more, but was met with a cold, mechanical glare from an emotionless machine.
A few days of searching for the culprit turned up blank, and eventually, the DDPD called off the search entirely. "How could they?" , he thought. These lifeless machines that had always been ruthless enforcers of the law would fight tooth and nail to hurt honest, hardworking citizens like himself, but wouldn't even TRY to catch a MURDERER? THE POLICE WERE SUPPOSED TO BE THE ARBITERS OF JUSTICE, AND THEY COULDN'T EVEN DO THAT?
Filled with rage and a thirst for revenge, Al turned back to his family's original potion selling business, determined to undermine the DDPD in any way he could. Starting again as a potion seller, he slowly grew his way up the ranks, ascending to infamy in The Underbelly's criminal scene for selling the purest, (albeit orange) potions known to monsterkind. It was there he met a mysterious Geodweller by the name of Marcalino, who introduced him to this then small resistance effort called the Revolutionaries, with a small but enticing idea: to make everyone who once looked down upon people like him pay for what they made the people of The Underbelly endure.
And from that day on, Al was no more.
For his name is Dr. Hazardaver, he lives at 403 Street, Ferrokin District, Decaying Dystopia, 79025.
And you are not strong enough to handle his strongest potions.
